A lil about me...

Hello

Hi, I’m Hannah Lentz, better known as Highway Hannah. I document my travels for work, sharing glimpses of some of the most surreal places across the U.S. — and sometimes abroad. I grew up in Missoula, Montana, later lived in Bellingham, Washington, and now embrace the freedom of life on the road. My loyal companion, Romeo, a half Lab, half Rottweiler mix, has been by my side for seven steady years.

My Story

I’m 27 and currently road-tripping my way across the U.S., chasing adventure and building a life on my own terms. I grew up in Missoula, Montana, and no matter where I go, it’ll always feel like home. My dad first put me on skis at the Snowbowl when I was five, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Summers were filled with golf lessons from him, family trips to Lake Alva, and our annual vacations to the Oregon coast. Those traditions shaped me, and I still carry them with me today.

Family has always been my anchor. The holidays I look forward to most are Thanksgiving and Christmas—there’s just something about that cozy, festive season with the people I love. And yes, I’m that girl with a Nutcracker collection… I’ve added a new one every Christmas since the year I was born.

My Career in Music

For the past seven years, I’ve been working in the EDM music industry, starting small by supporting local artists, collaborating with clothing brands, and teaming up with art collectives. Now, I’m an artist manager and head of artist relations at VMG, and I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else. Helping artists grow, connect, and share their music with the world is what I live for.

What I Love

When I’m not working, I’m outside with my dog, Romeo. Hiking new trails, breathing in mountain air, finding quiet in nature—that’s where I feel most alive.

Dance has also been part of my life since I was three years old. Between that and the love of music I inherited from my dad and grandparents, I can’t remember a time when music wasn’t central to who I am. It’s my biggest source of joy and connection.

I’m also a total book lover (fantasy fiction has my heart forever—yes, I’m still a Harry Potter nerd). Cold weather is my excuse to cozy up with a good read or marathon my favorite shows, usually wrapped in one of my giant blankets. I also have a habit of collecting little things from my adventures—rocks, pins, stickers, patches. Every piece has a story and a memory attached to it.

How I See Life

I like to keep a few philosophies close: if you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, it just is what it is. And nothing worth having ever comes easy. Life isn’t always smooth, but it’s about the people (and pets) you hold onto along the way.

Looking Ahead

My goal is to keep blending my two loves—music and travel—into a lifestyle that gives me freedom to grow, create, and explore. I want to keep meeting amazing people, experiencing new places, and building something sustainable for me and Romeo.

That’s me in a nutshell—thanks for following along as I keep writing this story.
